Hollywood star Keanu Reeves stopped at a traditional English pub for lunch on Saturday, much top the surprise of staff and guests. The Matrix and John Wick star had a meal at The Robin Hood in Tring before posing with staff for pictures.
Posting a picture on their Facebook page, the pub said: "So today we had a surprise visitor for lunch… What a lovely man he was too.
"Laura asked if he would be ok with taking photos with the kitchen lads. He marched into the kitchen shook their hands and praised them for the food they had prepared. Suffice to say he made their days!!!"
Speaking to Metro, barmaid Laura Rolfe said: "One of our cooks was so excited he looked as though he was going to pass out."
She added: "When I took the cutlery down, I asked, 'Oh, is someone else joining you?' but he said, 'No, we want to try both.'
"He was with someone else. Presumably a driver or a friend, maybe?"
Last August Reeves delighted locals at a Northamptonshire pub, with one resident saying the actor had “made our year”.
The John Wick star was spotted by surprised pub-goers at The Fox and Hounds, Charwelton.
Dianne King, 46, had been at the pub with her husband, Jason, and said she did not believe it was the Matrix actor at first.
“We really didn’t think it was him at first,” Mrs King told the PA news agency.
“Why would Keanu Reeves be in our local pub? But when I realised (it was him) I went over just to make sure.
“He was really nice and asked if I wanted a photo, and funnily enough I did. Who wouldn’t?”
The couple described the film star as a “lovely person” and said the experience of meeting him had been an “honour”.
“He is a legend and I think myself and my husband are still on a high from it,” Mrs King said.
“He has made our year. What a honour.”
Last week, Keanu Reeves was granted a temporary restraining order against a man who allegedly made multiple unwanted appearances at his home.
The Hollywood star said the alleged incidents had caused him to be “substantially alarmed, annoyed, and distressed”.
In court documents obtained by the PA news agency, Reeves claimed that 38-year-old Brian Keith Dixon had visited his Los Angeles County property six times, once sleeping in the actor’s back garden.

The incidents had occurred in the three-month period between November of last year and January 2023, he said.
The documents also stated that during the second visit, Dixon had left a backpack on the property that included “bizarre” items including a DNA testing kit inside.
Dixon had posted “incoherently and alarmingly on social media, referring to himself as ‘Jasper Keith Reeves’, apparently indicating his belief that he and Mr. Reeves are relatives,” they stated.
In his own statement Reeves said: “Over the past few months, there have been multiple incidents in which the Respondent visited my home uninvited, trespassed onto my property, sought access to my home, and sought to contact me.
“I understand that there is an ongoing criminal investigation against Respondent due to his disturbing conduct.
“Respondent’s harassing, disturbing and threatening actions, which are ongoing, are causing me to be substantially alarmed, annoyed, and distressed, including because I want to protect my partner and friends who reside or spend time at my home.”
The restraining order was granted until February 24, the date of a court hearing into the matter.
It states that Dixon must remain 100 yards away from Reeves at all times.
