'Surely not' - Shock Nottingham Forest transfer link questioned

Nottingham Forest supporters have been questioning reports linking the Reds with Real Betis left-back Alex Moreno.

The general consensus is that head coach Steve Cooper has enough full-backs in his squad and does not need more. Others, though, have suggested it would make sense with five substitutes to be used per game next season.

Moreno is also capable of playing higher up the pitch, but that hasn't stopped Forest fans questioning the latest transfer link. Below is a look at what some supporters have been saying.

Nottingham 4444 : You lot talking about another left back another Defender another this and another that... what you forget is there is 5 substitutes on the bench... so that means you need a really big squad. Can you imagine Manchester City Arsenal and them big teams bringing 5 substitutes on worth millions and millions.... what chance will we at forest have ???

Mixstar : Moreno is fast and dangerous going forward. Maybe the boss has plans for him further up the field.

Cheeks : Former Barcelona player in the same way Robbie Savage is a former Man United player.

Ratton Red : Not much cracking on at the moment. A lull.

HunterOfTheAlps : This one doesn’t make sense to me. With Toffolo on his way, Richard’s already in and Williams, Colback & Niakhate who can all cover LB surely we don’t need another option.

ChrissyD : Another left back? Surely not. Someone will definitely be ‘left back’ in the dressing room at this rate!

Grantham red : He plays as a winger also. Steven boy is strengthening the left side of the pitch. Which didn't have much oomph last season hey.

1963 reds : why do we need another LWB, we have one and cover now?
