SURAT: A city-based diamond manufacturer has made the world's largest polished lab grown diamond (LGD). The biggest diamond of 27.27 carat is named 'Om', a marquise step cut. The announcement was made by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), a global diamond certification organisation.
"We have manufactured the biggest polished LGD in the world. Earlier China manufactured 16 carat diamond and we broke the record," said Smit Patel, a partner in Surat's Greenlab Diamonds.
