Supreme Court sets date for Scottish independence referendum case

A date has been set for when judges will consider Nicola Sturgeon's plan to hold a second referendum on Scottish independence.

The Supreme Court in London will hear arguments from lawyers representing both the UK and Scottish Governments on October 11 on 12.

The judges will decide whether Holyrood has the legal powers to call an IndyRef2 without the prior approval of the UK Government.
