Supreme Court dismisses Zakia Jafri's petition on Gujarat riots

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a plea filed by Zakia Jafri seeking fresh investigations into post-Godhra 2002 Gujarat communal riots.

A three-judge bench of the Apex Court, headed by Justice A M Khanwilkar, had reserved the judgement on December 9 last year after hearing a detailed argument from Zakia, SIT and others.
