Fans and followers have shown an abundance of support for Rylan Clarke following a heartbreaking Tweet posted to social media overnight.

The Radio 2 DJ and television superstar who split up with his husband Dan Neal last year appeared emotional when he posted the message to Twitter at 1.49am on Sunday (20 March) - Hull Daily Mail reports.

He wrote: "Ever have a night out where u have a really good night with friends... However on the way home u sit and think, would much rather a night in with Netflix and someone u care about... yeah that babe." (Sic)
