Supply Fears Push Cocoa Prices to 11-Month Highs

December ICE NY cocoa (CCZ26) is up +444 (+7.19%) today, and September ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU26) is up +363 (+8.27%).

Cocoa prices are rallying sharply for a second day today and posted 11-month highs. Concerns about the quality of this year’s West African cocoa crops are fueling a rally in cocoa prices. The lack of sunshine in the Ivory Coast and Ghana is allowing black pod disease to spread, lowering cocoa bean quality.
