Supply chain group vows to uphold King's vision

The Thailand Supply Chain Network (TSCN) and its partners have pledged to follow His Majesty the King's first royal command of "continue, preserve and build up" by promoting knowledge-based cooperation, innovation and participation among stakeholders to support sustainable national development.

TSCN, in collaboration with the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Interior, the Thai Chamber of Commerce and civil society groups, on Monday held a commemorative event at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center to honour His Majesty on the occasion of his 74th birthday and the 10th anniversary of his accession to the throne.

The event showcased development projects inspired by His Majesty's guiding principle, highlighting efforts to preserve natural resources and local wisdom while strengthening economic development and improving people's quality of life.

TSCN founder Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi said the event aimed to highlight projects initiated by various agencies and elevate them into a national development network that creates long-term value for communities and the country.

"Today marks an important step in extending these projects to continue value creation, preserve natural resources and wisdom, and build economic development and quality of life in a sustainable manner," he said.

Industry Minister Varawut Silpa-archa said he was proud of the younger generation's efforts to follow the King's intention, which would help preserve Thai culture and strengthen awareness of Thainess.
