Astronaut Chris Hadfield has announced that he will bring his live show to Dublin. The famous spaceman will land at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on Sunday, June 25 2023.
On Earth And Space – Chris Hadfield’s Guide To The Cosmos will see the Canadian astronaut and former commander of the International Space Station share his thoughts on the new age of space travel and what it will mean for life on Earth. Chris is the first Canadian to work in space and became a viral sensation when he recorded a version of David Bowie’s hit Space Oddity on board the International Space Station.
During the unique live show, Chris will hare unheard tales of space voyages and human exploration for all ages, as seen through his eyes as an astronaut. The show will feature multimedia imagery and music to bring these stories to life, and will celebrate the best of human achievement and optimism.

Chris will engage with the audience plenty with a Q&A. He said of the UK and Ireland tour: "I love the UK and Ireland, so to be coming back and sharing my experiences once again is very exciting.
"We'll be talking about the latest discoveries and featuring the mind-blowing images recently captured by the James Webb telescope, and space fans will have the chance to ask questions about the amazing worlds out there."
Chris previously toured toured the UK in 2017 and 2018 – including the Royal Albert Hall’s inaugural Festival Of Science, where he joined comedian Robin Ince for the all-star Space Shambles show. The multi-talented spaceman also has a deep love of Irish music and has performed with The Chieftains several times.
Chris' daughter lives in Dublin and the beloved space explorer will be sure to visit her home here when his tour arrives on Irish shores. Chris retired in 2013 has since written four international best sellers.
