The Food Standards Agency has issued a number of urgent product recalls this week warning customers that their health could be put at risk. Shoppers are being urged to check their fridges and cupboards after serious issues were raised from products available at the main supermarkets including Lidl, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, and Morrisons.
The products which could be dangerous include Sharwoods curry sauce, collagen capsules, chilli heatwave tortilla chips and organic broths. Issues include incorrect sell-by dates, potentially contamination with plastic shards and possibly containing unlisted allergens.
Customers are being warned not to eat the food items - with their full details listed below - and instead return them to the store in which they were bought. All of the affected items have been removed from shelves, and the Food Standards Agency (FSA) says if an item is under a recall notice, you can return the product for an exchange or refund.
