Pistachio has long been a favourite for adding richness and crunch to sweet treats, but the viral Dubai chocolate bar – first created by FIX Chocolatier in 2022 – took things to another level. Packed with pistachio cream and knafeh pastry, it quickly sparked a wave of imitators and turned the flavour into a full-blown trend. Since then, pistachio has been everywhere, reimagined in everything from chocolate bars and truffles to protein snacks – and now, of course, Easter eggs.
