A man has claimed he was humiliated after being told to leave a supermarket as staff didn't like the way he shopped.

Matthew Scholes said he visited Asda in Thornaby to do his his weekly shop after finishing work.

The care home employee was coming off a 12-hour night shift when he went to pick up some groceries, only for something strange to happen once he entered the store.
