Filmmaker and DC Studios co‑chair James Gunn has confirmed that principal photography has wrapped on Superman sequel 'Man of Tomorrow', with British star Nicholas Hoult marking the final shot by jumping into a lake alongside the director ahead of the film's planned 9 July 2027 cinema release.

The wrap brings to a close around four months of filming on the follow‑up to David Corenswet's debut as the Man of Steel.
