'Super pest' fire ant nest found in logistics warehouse

Fire ants likely imported from overseas in a shipping container have landed at a critical logistics site, with measures underway to rapidly wipe them out.

A biosecurity team at the federal agriculture department detected the fire ant nest at the Enfield Intermodal Centre in Sydney's inner west suburbs.
