Vladamir Shishkin, the current IBF’s Number 2 contender hopes to retain his status in the upcoming bout against Ramon Ayala this coming Friday, September 29 at Miccosukee Indian Gaming Resort in Miami, Florida. The Russian Super Middleweight contender Shishkin (14-0) will be in action in a duel with Mexico’s Ayala (25-8-1) in an eight-round matchup.
“I’m staying active and sharp and making sure that I’m getting better every day,” said Shishkin in a media statement. “I’ll be watching the Canelo vs. Charlo fight closely, but I’m laser focused on being at my best this Friday night. To get that Canelo fight I know that I have to win impressively and earn my shot.”
