Super League reveal key dates as preparations for 2023 continue

The 2023 Betfred Super League season will kick-off on Thursday February 16. Competition organisers announced some key dates for next year’s calendar as it looks to build on what will hopefully be a successful World Cup.

Super League starts a week later in 2023 - it began early this term to help incorporate the World Cup - and will culminate with the traditional Old Trafford Grand Final on Saturday October 14. The full list of fixtures will be announced next month on Thursday November 3 but the Rival Round has been tied down for the Easter weekend of Thursday April 6 to Monday April 10 and the last regular round begins on Thursday September 21.

The eliminators will be staged on Friday September 29 and Saturday September 30 with the semi-finals a week later on Friday October 6 and Saturday October 7. Magic Weekend’s venue, fixtures and kick-offs will be revealed on Sunday week with tickets going on sale on Sunday October 23 while Grand Final tickets will go on sale on Sunday November 20 - the day after the World Cup finals at Old Trafford.
