'Super emitter': borehole readings spark audit call

The discovery of a borehole releasing the same amount of greenhouse gases as 10,000 cars has sparked calls for an audit amid fears it is "the tip of the methane iceberg".

Researchers have revealed the alarming methane emissions from one of what may be 130,000 coal exploration boreholes across Queensland.
