This is the moment a "super dad" climbed up a waterslide to rescue his daughter after becoming stuck.
Andrew Jackson, 38, and his partner Emma Reece, 41, decided to take their daughter to Gulliver's World in Warrington for a day out on Saturday, June 10, to celebrate her sixth birthday. But when the tot decided to go on the Togo Tower, she found herself stuck half way down the ride in her dinghy.
Her hero dad went on to take the matter into his own hands and scaled the waterslide to reach his daughter.
Speaking to the ECHO, Emma said: "I could see Sienna had started to cry and getting panicked. Andrew said 'I'm going to have to walk up there and get her".
In the clip, Andrew can be seen using his best "Spiderman" skills to reach his child. The 38-year-old grips the sides of the waterslide and places his feet on the edge to avoid the water. Emma can be bursting into fits of laughter as Andrew moves vertically up the slide. People can then be heard cheering as Andrew reaches the dinghy.
He then brings the dinghy forward slightly so it tips over the edge of the bump to try and un-wedge it. After a little struggle, the boat becomes free. However, Andrew has to use his feet to get the boat moving but eventually Andrew and Sienna make it safely down the slide to cheers from people watching the dad and daughter. Emma can also be heard cheering when they reach the bottom.
She added: "There was cheering from the top and bottom".
Emma shared the video where it has gone viral with 4.7 million views. News stations around the world also shared the clip of Andrew rescuing Sienna, including American news sites CNN and Fox News. Six-year-old Sienna told the ECHO she was "happy" when her dad managed to rescue her and agreed he was "super dad".
