Super Bowl 26: All the best ads from the NFL event

It is fair to say that even if you don’t like American Football, there is something for everyone who tunes in to the iconic Super Bowl.

Some watch it for the game, others for the musical entertainment, and others - for the adverts.

Yes that is right, people tune in to the mega event, only to get a glimpse of the commercials which are shown in between breaks on the field.

And now with the 2026 Super Bowl finished, we are here to round up the best ones on offer during the showing on Sunday, February 8:

Poking fun

Anthropic did not steer clear of controversy, poking fun at the new trend of ChatGPT.

They launched a series of Super Bowl ads to make fun of Open AI for leaning into ads on the famous app.

They started the ad with the word: “Betrayal”, before adding: “Ads are coming to AI. But not to Claude. Keep thinking.”

The background music asked: “What’s the difference between me and you?”

Humanising AI

AI was definitely a theme during the ads, and Google also jumped onboard the opportunity to get their point of view across.

They tried to make their features on the new Gemini AI seem friendly, warm and family-orientated with their ad.

Their attempt showed a mum walking her son through the empty rooms of a house she’s just purchased for them. The ad then pivots to showcase the capabilities of Gemini AI, which fills each room with furniture and objects tailored to what the boy wants.

Chris Hemsworth vs the Robots

Amazon Alexa poked fun at the fears around AI capabilities, and brought a Hollywood star on board for the ride.

Their Super Bowl advert showed Chris Hemsworth spiralling over just how advanced Amazon’s Alexa has become, to the point where he’s convinced it might be capable of killing him.

The premise is played entirely for laughs, with the Avengers actor dramatically preparing for the worst, including squaring up against a bear, while Alexa calmly reassures him that it means no harm.

Backstreets back?

Backstreets back, alright.

The boys really are back after their Las Vegas stint, but this time with T-Mobile, as they appeared at the phone giant’s Times Square store to serenade unsuspecting customers about why they should switch providers.

Sweet Caroline

Neil Diamond cover singers had a moment, with a condiment giant taking on some serious 80s vibes. Hellmann’s got Andy Samberg on board playing Meal Diamond, crooning passionately about his love for mayonnaise on sandwiches.

A crackers party

Actors Jon Hamm and Bowen Yang star in a Ritz cracker ad where they were "salty" about not getting invited to a stellar island party.

Benson Boone and Ben Stiller team up

Benson Boone and actor Ben Stiller did a spot for Instacart where they played '80-ish musicians trying to sell you bananas.

Pepsi and the bears

Coca Cola used to run ads featuring polar bears for years, and now Pepsi have jumped on the bandwagon.

They used a big white polar bear for their big game ad in 2026 in what appeared to be a bit of a dig.

The bears break their old habit and become Pepsi lovers in the clever ad.

Pokemon and the big guns

Pokemon called on some big names for their Super Bowl ad, including Lady Gaga, Trevor Noah, and Lamine Yamal.

Emma Stone gets behind the websites

Emma Stone jumps on board for this advert, saying domain names are taken — and actor Emma Stone delivered an overly dramatic performance about it for Squarespace.
