After months of uncertainty and speculation, Netflix’s breakout British superhero hit Supacell is officially back on track. Filming for Season 2 has now wrapped, marking a major milestone for the sci-fi drama that took viewers by storm with its grounded take on superhuman abilities in South London. Series creator Rapman has confirmed that despite earlier production setbacks, the cameras have finally stopped rolling, and attention has now shifted fully into post-production, as per a report by What’s On Netflix. That means the long wait for updates on the Supacell Season 2 release date has entered its most important phase yet, as editing, visual effects, and final cuts begin shaping the next chapter of the story.
