Sunny Edwards explains why he beat up troll who travelled 200 miles to gym

Sunny Edwards insists he was trying to protect himself after deciding to beat up a Twitter troll who had harassed him online.

Edwards is the current IBF flyweight champion and has yet to be defeated in his professional career, putting on some vintage displays in recent years. He was confronted by Twitter user Fab Tanga in July who spent £110 to travelled 200 miles to the champion's Sheffield gym, to threaten the flyweight star.

Edwards, 26, drove to his gym with his two children before inviting the troll in for a sparring session which he filmed and streamed online. Edwards naturally had the beating of his rival, who he delivered some basic shots too before he was forced to retire due to exhaustion after two rounds.
