It hasn't been easy for Sunil Grover in the past month. The famous actor didn't have just blockages in heart but COVID as well. ETimes TV gets you the details of what exactly transpired.
It so happened that Sunil was diagnosed with COVID after he showed up a few related symptoms including difficulty in breathing. After a brief quarantine as the COVID began to subside, he still felt a lot of discomfort in the chest. The doctors then advised an angiography. It was at this point that the blockages were detected and a bypass advised.
Subsequently, Sunil had to wait it out as COVID had just left him. A week or so later, he underwent the bypass.
FYI, Sunil spent a full week in the hospital. The media was late to latch on to his health issue and it was reported only a day before he was discharged.
Current health status? Sunil is fine and resting at home. He is following all the do's and don'ts of medical advice that have been given to him by the team of doctors who attended to him. As on today, he still needs 3 weeks of rest before he resumes work.
