SunFest 2022 lineup, tickets: Sam Hunt, Black Pumas, Lil Wayne, Melissa Etheridge

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Iconic South Florida music festival SunFest will return to the West Palm Beach waterfront for the first time in three years April 28-May 1 with headliners including country heartthrob Sam Hunt, Grammy-nominated roots-rockers Black Pumas, Lil Wayne, AJR, Slightly Stoopid and Melissa Etheridge.

With the announcement on Tuesday, tickets for the festival also went on sale, priced at $90 for a four-day pass, $60 for a two-day pass and $45-$50 for a single-day ticket. Visit Sunfest.com/tickets.

The 2022 SunFest lineup also includes Nelly, Boyz II Men, Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, Brett Young, Adam Lambert, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and a long list of undercard performers.

Among local acts playing SunFest 2022 will be Artikal Sound System, Public Sounds, Citizen Badger, American Sigh, Indigo Dreamers and Joey Calderaio.

SunFest 2020 was canceled during the first few months of COVID, and the 2021 edition was sidelined early last year when several artists expressed concerns about touring and performing for large crowds. Tickets to the 2020 festival will be honored this year.

Founded 40 years ago, SunFest has been a fixture of the South Florida music calendar, typically drawing more than 100,000 visitors to downtown West Palm Beach for food and drink, art, local craft vendors and family-friendly strolling on the city’s splendid waterfront.

Among the eclectic range of national acts that have appeared at SunFest are Keith Urban, Ice Cube, Alabama Shakes, Wilco, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, Gary Clark Jr., Herbie Hancock, Steve Winwood, Fall Out Boy and Smashing Pumpkins.
