A school in Sunderland has unveiled its brand-new £124,000 adventure playground - complete with a climbing wall and a fireman's pole.
Students at Diamond Hall Junior Academy were on cloud nine as their brand new playground was formally opened by local MP, Julie Elliott on Friday. Over the past few months, staff and pupils have been eagerly awaiting the completion of the top-of-the-range play facility installed by Pentagon Play.
The play area has ample things to enjoy including a central climbing feature and the Langley play castle which has ramps, climbing nets, a climbing wall, slides, and a fireman's pole, providing both active and imaginative play for students.
