Sunderland's home game against Middlesbrough next month has been pushed back a day after being selected for live TV coverage. The Black Cats were due to take on the Teessiders at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, January 21, but the game will now be shown on Sky Sports and has been moved to the Sunday with kick-off at 12noon.
The fixture pits Sunderland boss Tony Mowbray against one of his former clubs, and means that the Black Cats' games against Boro home and away have now been chosen for broadcast. The game will be the 12th Sunderland game shown live on Sky Sports this season.
The Black Cats' home Championship game against Coventry City in July was screened live, as was the away game at Sheffield United and the home game against Norwich in August, along with the Carabao Cup tie at Sheffield Wednesday the same month. In September, Sunderland's games at Boro and Reading were selected.

In October, their game at Blackburn Rovers was chosen, and their final game before the World Cup break at Birmingham City was also shown live.
They resume their campaign tomorrow at home to Millwall in another live Sky game, with two more home games picked this month against West Bromwich Albion a week on Monday, and then Blackburn on Boxing Day.
