Ross Stewart scored an injury-time equaliser against Burton Albion to spare Sunderland another home defeat.
The Black Cats trailed to Cameron Borthwick-Jackson's goal early in the second half, but Stewart headed home in the 93rd minute to earn a point for Alex Neil's side.
But the game was of secondary importance after play had to be suspended for almost an hour due to a medical emergency in the crowd within minutes of kick-off.
