Manchester United loanee Amad was praised by Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray after the attacker scored in the Black Cats' victory over Huddersfield.
The young Ivorian got himself on the scoresheet in the 96th minute as Sunderland beat Huddersfield Town 2-0 in the Championship on Wednesday night. It was the 20-year-old's second goal in three games.
Amad, who has made 11 appearances for the Black Cats, endured a difficult start to his spell at the Stadium of Light, but he has now started three consecutive matches against Burnley, Luton Town and Huddersfield.

The 20-year-old fired home from close range late on against Huddersfield on Wednesday, with Amad combining well with one of his teammates before firing the ball low under Lee Nicholls from a tight angle to seal all three points for the away side.
After the game, Mowbray insisted that he was confident Amad could kick on and succeed during his loan spell.
Outlining Amad's best qualities, Mowbray said: "Ive got total confidence that Amad is a first-team footballer now. His tightness with the ball, the goals he can score, when he breaks away and he dances past people he looks as if he’s sharp and a real talent. It’s taken Amad a bit of time to make an impact, but he’s not a young unknown."
Mowbray added: "Man United bought him from Atalanta for a lot of money and he’s with us to play football and experience the expectation of a big crowd. He’s scored two goals now in just over a week and that’s good for the team because I feel I have unearthed another starter now. He’s gone past the stage where he’s a young lad who needs blooding.”
