Former Hamilton boss Alex Neil says he's aiming to rack up plenty of wins to help his new Sunderland side into the English Championship.

Neil has been out of work since leaving Championship side Preston last year but returns to the dugout with fellow ex-Accies manager Martin Canning as his assistant.

His first game in charge was a 1-1 draw with AFC Wimbledon and the Bellshill-born boss faces a fight to get Sunderland out of League One.
