Sunderland fans have reacted with fury both in the ground and on social media after losing 2-1 to Cheltenham Town.
Sunderland headed to Cheltenham with no manager and the automatic promotion spots looking increasingly distant, and the result did nothing to change things.
Alex Pritchard got things off to a promising start for the Black Cats, putting away a free-kick, but that was undone by goals from Elliott Bonds and Alfie May.
After it finished 2-1 to Cheltenham Town there was an angry reaction from travelling Sunderland fans, and there was similar a reaction on social media.
@Scookie555 tweeted: “I’ve been a season ticket holder for nearly 30 years, but the way I’m feeling tonight, and depending what happens in the next few days, I’m getting dangerously close to telling you lot to stick it.”
