Sunderland supporters will get a look at how the Black Cats operate without a striker as they take on Fulham in the FA Cup this evening. Ross Stewart picked up an injury in the first leg of the tie and is set to be ruled out for the remainder of the campaign, while loanee Joe Gelhardt is cup tied.
The Black Cats turned in an impressive performance down at Craven Cottage and thought they'd won the tie in injury time. 15-year-old Chris Rigg scored. However, the goal was ruled out after Abdoullah Ba strayed offside in the build-up.
Tony Mowbray has a plethora of attacking talent, with Jack Clarke or Amad Diallo expected to play the furthest forward this evening. The Wearsiders welcome a Fulham side that are flying high in the Premier League after winning promotion last season.
