Sunderland are among the Championship sides to have seen a £1million bid rejected for AFC Wimbledon midfielder Jack Rudoni. According to the Sun, Huddersfield Town and Bristol City have also seen bids knocked back for the 21-year-old.
Rudoni remains a key part of new Johnnie Jackson's plans as they plot a return to League One following their relegation last season. The midfielder scored 12 goals and notched five assists in 41 league games last season and has caught the eye of the three aforementioned Championship clubs.
The Wombles value the midfielder at more than the £1 million offered and the report claims Jackson sees the midfielder as an integral part of their promotion bid next season. However, it also claims Wimbledon could be tempted to sell the youngster and reinvest into the squad ahead of next season.
