Geoff Keighley’s annual midsummer games showcase, Summer Game Fest—“not-E3,” returns this year with another live event at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California. You can expect a two-hour-long showcase full of new game announcements and updates.
Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase kicks off on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET / 9 pm GMT. It will be followed by Days of the Devs, the annual, non-profit digital indie game event which should highlight some of the most unique and obscure indie titles coming this year and beyond.
In addition, this year’s Summer Game Fest marks the return of The Game Business live, a show focusing on key industry figures analyzing the state of the games industry. Below you can find more details on Summer Game Fest 2026, including how to watch and what to expect.
How to watch Summer Game Fest 2026
Summer Game Fest 2026 will be available to watch on YouTube and Twitch. Like last year, it should also be livestreamed on Facebook, Steam, and X. Keighley’s other prolific gaming showcase, The Game Awards, was streamed on Amazon Prime Video globally, so SGF may receive similar treatment; nothing has been confirmed yet.
It’s worth noting that last year’s SGF event garnered over 50 million viewers, the highest viewership recorded so far for the annual event, and this year’s event should be no different.
What to expect from Summer Game Fest 2026?

Over the years, Summer Game Fest has significantly increased the scale and scope of its reveals and updates, including unexpected world premieres of AAA and indie titles such as Resident Evil Requiem and Mortal Shell 2.
As such, you could expect a diverse lineup of titles, particularly from third-party developers. Capcom has had a strong presence at the last few SGF events, and there’s a possibility we get glimpses of at least one of its upcoming titles, like Onimusha: Way of the Sword. A remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica has long been rumored, and could pop up at this year’s showcase.
Other third-party publishers, such as Annapurna Interactive, will likely be there with new trailers for Silent Hill Townfall and Mixtape.
These are some games we expect to see at this year’s Summer Game Fest 2026. Naturally, as we get closer to the showcase, game teasers and leaks will start appearing, and when that happens, we will update this article with the latest information.
