Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq received on Monday a telephone call from Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, reported the sultanate’s state news agency (ONA).
Their talks focused on aspects of bilateral cooperation between their countries.
They exchanged views on regional and international developments, added ONA.
In Doha, meanwhile, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received Iran's vice president for economic affairs, Mohsen Rezai, and an accompanying delegation.
They held talks on bilateral ties and ways to bolster and develop them.
They also reviewed issues of common interest, reported Qatar's state news agency (QNA).
