Suki Waterhouse has spoken openly about her near five-year-long relationship with Robert Pattinson.
The couple live together in London after first starting to date in summer 2018, and have been tight-lipped about their romance until now.
Speaking to The Sunday Times Style magazine, Waterhouse, 31, said that they barely spend time away from each other, revealing that two months is the longest they’ve spent apart.
Waterhouse, who is currently on tour in US, shared: “I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I’m going back to see him. Then he’ll come out for a couple of days.
“I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone for nearly five years.”
When asked what she thinks makes their relationship work, Waterhouse said: “I’m always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up [on my phone] or even a text, and I think he feels the same about me. We’ve always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious.”
Elsewhere, the former model, who is set to appear in Amazon Prime’s new series Daisy Jones and the Six, has been focusing on her burgeoning music career.
Speaking about her music, the Love, Rosie star admitted that most of her music was written in the wake of a “colossal heartbreak” in her twenties, having notably dated Oscar nominated Bradley Cooper, 48, between 2013 and 2015.
Following their relationship, Cooper embarked on a new relationship with Russian supermodel Irina Shayk, who he shares a daughter, Lea, with.
Reflecting on the turbulent time of her life, Waterhouse added: “I was kind of depressed for a while. It stuck around for a long time. I think it was just the break-up and also just being in my twenties and in the f***ing trenches.”
Years on from the heartbreak, the star also told the newspaper she’s now “utterly healed”.
