Sugar Prices Weighed Down as the Supply Outlook Improves

India NY London Thailand Brazil the Indian Sugar and Bioenergy Manufacturers Association the International Sugar Organization USDA

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) Tuesday closed down -0.46 (-2.14%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) closed down -16.30 (-2.94%).

Sugar prices retreated Tuesday, with NY sugar posting a 1-week low and London sugar falling to a 1-month low on forecasts for rain this week in Brazil's Center-South, the country's main sugar-growing region.
