Sugar Prices Soar as Drought Conditions Persist in Brazil

October NY world sugar #11 (SBV24) today is up +0.85 (+4.43%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ24) is up +14.60 (+2.79%).

Sugar prices today are sharply higher, with NY sugar soaring to a 2-1/4 month high and London sugar posting a 2-week high.  Sugar prices surged today after forecaster Climatempo said most of this week will continue to be hot and dry in Brazil's sugar-producing areas.
