July NY world sugar #11 (SBN26) on Wednesday closed up +0.03 (+0.22%), and Aug London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ26) closed up +2.30 (+0.51%).

Sugar prices moved higher on Wednesday for a second day amid concerns over India’s sugar crop. Late Monday, India’s Meteorological Department reported that India’s cumulative monsoon rainfall was 32% below normal as of June 15. India’s monsoon season runs from June through September.
