Sugar Prices Retreat as the Dollar Strengthens

October NY world sugar #11 (SBV25) today is down -0.22 (-1.33%), and August London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ25) is down -9.10 (-1.85%).

Sugar prices are under pressure today from a stronger dollar.  The dollar index (DXY00) rallied to a 2-week high today, which sparked long liquidation in sugar futures.
