Sugar Prices Pressured by an Improved Supply Outlook

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is down -0.25 (-1.20%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) is down -7.10 (-1.33%).

Sugar prices today added to Thursday's losses, with NY sugar falling to a 2-3/4 month low and London sugar dropping to a 1-month low.  Brazil has recently ramped up its sugarcane crush, weighing on sugar prices.  On Thursday, Unica reported that Brazil crushed 20.35 MMT of sugarcane in the second half of November, above expectations of 15.5 MMT.
