Sugar Prices Fall on Weakness in Crude Oil

May NY world sugar #11 (SBK26) today is down -0.27 (-1.74%), and May London ICE white sugar #5 (SWK26) is down -7.10 (-1.58%).

Sugar prices tumbled to 2-week lows today and are sharply lower.  Weakness in crude oil prices (CLK26) today is undercutting ethanol prices, potentially encouraging the world's sugar mills to increase sugar production at ethanol's expense, boosting sugar supplies.
