Sugar Prices Fall on the Outlook for Global Sugar Surpluses to Continue

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH26) today is down -0.19 (-1.30%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH26) is down -7.00 (-1.68%).

Sugar prices are falling today on the outlook for global sugar surpluses to continue. Analysts from sugar trader Czarnikow said today they expect a global sugar surplus of 3.4 MMT in the 2026/27 crop year, following an 8.3 MMT surplus in 2025/26.
