Sugar Prices Ease on Rain in Brazil's Center-South

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is down -0.17 (-0.77%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ24) is down -3.90 (-0.70%).

Sugar prices today are moderately lower, with NY sugar posting a 1-1/2 week low and London sugar posting a 1-1/2 month low.   Forecasts for beneficial rain in Brazil's Center-South are undercutting sugar prices.  Forecaster Climatempo said rain will continue in Brazil's Center-South region over the next few days.  Brazil's Center-South is the country's main sugar-producing region.
