March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) on Tuesday closed up +0.12 (+0.55%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ24) closed up +4.00 (+0.71%).

Sugar prices on Tuesday closed mildly higher, recovering a bit from Monday's 1-week low.  Sugar prices were undercut Tuesday by the renewed demand by India's Sugar Mills for the government to permit them to export 2 million MT of sugar immediately due to the nation's surplus.
