Sugar Prices Consolidate as India's Sugar Mills Demand Export Permission

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) today is up +0.11 (+0.50%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ24) is up +3.90 (+0.70%).

Sugar prices are mildly higher today, recovering a bit from Monday's 1-week low.  Sugar prices were undercut today by the renewed demand by India's Sugar Mills for the government to permit them to export 2 million MT of sugar immediately due to the nation's surplus.
