Sugar Posts Moderate Gains on Lower Sugar Production in India

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH24) on Tuesday closed up +0.32 (+1.55%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH24) closed up +8.80 (+1.48%).

Sugar prices on Tuesday settled moderately higher on smaller sugar production in India after the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories reported India's sugar production from Oct 1-Dec 31 totaled 11.2 MMT, down -7.6% y/y.
