A McDonald's employee in Georgia claims she was sent home from a shift because of her ginger braids and subsequently wore a wig to return to work. The allegation was shared by TikTok user @ykluhslim, whose video prompted online discussion about workplace appearance policies, according to Operation Sports.

The source report, published on 13 October 2026, says the employee shared footage showing her long ginger braids before filming a visit to a local beauty supply store. The video reportedly prompted viewers to question why her hairstyle had allegedly been considered unacceptable and to suggest that she contact the company's corporate office.
