Stunning free kick delivers Perth win over ALW leaders

Perth ALW Alana Jancevski Glory Perth Glory Western United Hannah Keane Western

Alana Jancevski's stunning free kick has helped Perth Glory earn a huge 3-1 upset win over Western United and keep their slim A-League Women finals hopes alive.

The Glory took the lead via Susan Phonsongkham in the 12th minute on Saturday before Emma Robers scrambled an equaliser 10 minutes later.

But Jancevski's magnificent set piece proved the difference, handing United just their second defeat of the season, before recruit Hannah Blake added a third in the 96th minute in Ballarat.
