Newcastle United supporters have teased Arsenal star Bukayo Saka as they joked that he was 'channeling his inner Miguel Almiron' after he scored a sensational goal for England against Ukraine.
Having beaten Italy 2-1 in their first European Championship qualifier, England headed into their second match against Ukraine at Wembley looking to keep their spot at the top of the group. After a quiet start to the match, Harry Kane and Saka exchanged in a long-ranged one-two as the Gunners winger whipped in a far-post cross for the Tottenham man to poke home from close range.
Not to be outdone by his North London rival, Saka soon went from provider to scorer as he received the ball into feet from 20-yards out before spinning his marker and unleashing a sensational strike into the far corner. There was little Anatoliy Trubin could do in goal as he watched the ball sail past him and hit the back of the net.

The England team took to the corner flag to celebrate with Saka, but for Newcastle fans watching on, the goal felt eerily familiar.
Almiron has found the back of the net 11 times for the Magpies in the Premier League this season as he tops their goalscoring charts. Under Eddie Howe this term, Almiron has demonstrated his finishing ability and Newcastle supporters could not help but marvel at what they saw as a similarly well-taken strike by Saka as that which the Paraguayan has scored on numerous occasions this season.
It did not take long from Saka's strike hitting the back of the net before fans took to social media to send a tongue in cheek jibe to the Arsenal man as he met Almiron's lofty standards with his well-taken finish.
