Swindon: Researchers have identified a key process in cell death that prevents cancer from spreading through a distinct molecular mechanism of the disease's early stages. The study was published in 'Science Advances'.
The study was led by Dr Luke Clifton of the STFC ISIS Neutron and Muon Source (ISIS) in Oxfordshire, with co-lead Professor Gerhard Grobner of the University of Ume and partners from the European Spallation Source in Sweden. This is the latest in a series of collaborations by this team to investigate the cellular proteins that cause apoptosis.
