A group of university students were left shocked after they discovered the house they were sharing had secret cameras installed by their landlord. They said they felt as though they were the main protagonists of a ’Big Brother’ show.
The group also revealed their concerns about the intrusion into their home, with eight CCTV cameras positioned in nearly every room bar the bathrooms and bedrooms. “I mean, I‘m really happy that I go in without an audition, but I would have liked to have known before I came in,” said one of the Brisbane based students, Daniel Delaney.
Delaney, along with fellow housemates Nathan Thomas and Ameya Tidke, told Australian TV show A Current Affair that the landlord had positioned the cameras around the property without their permission after they had signed their lease.
